After a terribly long, miserable weekend I’m in Atlanta for the week for work. I was sick all weekend…puking my brains out. Who knew brushing your teeth would open up a portal to hell from your stomach?!?
Seriously, I know that it will end. Enough people have assured me that I’ll feel hunky-dory in about a month, but it doesn’t really make it less miserable. I mean, I feel like I climbed Mt. Everest by simply NOT puking on the plane. Somebody, GET ME A MEDAL!
I’ve lost 7 lbs. At least that’s kinda cool. The thing is, I can’t tell it. My clothes aren’t fitting differently…nothing. Oh well, the numbers don’t lie.
We did get to tell our immediate families on Father’s Day. I don’t know how we’ll top that gift. It was so great. We had everyone over for a cookout and we got the dads some cheap little gifts. After they opened them, we made them go outside for a picture. Wade said, “say cheese.”
He took the picture and said that he was going to take one more. This time, he said, “say, Coty’s pregnant!”
It took my Dad asking, “Is she really?” for it to finally settle in, but we have in on video and it’s awesome!
We also told the grandparents and they are so excited! It really has been an exciting time. Alright, I’m going to get some rest before dinner.
