In 2 weeks, I’ll be waking up on the day of my wedding! I can’t wait. We’ve had so much going on trying to finalize table layouts, budget, decor, guest list, transportation, appointments, etc. It has been crazy! And then, you add in trying to take care of work so that we don’t have a bunch of stuff hanging over our heads while family is in town and it really had been a zoo around here.
I think things are pretty well taken care of, or maybe I’m just ignoring whatever is left so I don’t stress out about it. I’ve been to the chiropractor twice in the past week and I have another appointment scheduled for Monday. My neck has been hurting so bad and I think it’s stress. I haven’t been able to look right or left or put my chin to my chest. I’m not comfortable unless I’m laying down and the pain gives me a headache. So, I’m working with a double-whammy here. I am doing slightly better this morning after a night with the heating pad and a couple of hardcore get-the-knot-out sessions with Wade yesterday, but I would call the sweet relief of my appointment Monday the most highly anticipated event of the week.
Even with all of this going on, work has been really great. It certainly has been demanding, but I’m doing extremely well. We are so ready for things to get rolling! Carolyn and Neal arrive next Saturday and Frankie and Corey (Wade’s cousins) arrive on Wednesday. Everyone else gets in on Thursday and it will be here before we know it!
I don’t imagine that I’ll be blogging too much with all the coming and going and family in town, but I’m hoping to get back to regular blogging once the wedding is over. I may even start a brand new blog that is geared toward a new topic of interest…we’ll see.
