What an awesome day this has been?!? Let me tell ya, it started yesterday with Josh Hamilton’s crazy 4 hr-game in Baltimore. I actually watched it! AMAZING! Now, I’ll always remember what I was doing my last night in my 20’s…that makes me pretty happy!
This morning started off with Archie handing me a card (in his mouth) in bed. It was signed and had a sweet note from his Daddy! I had to run to my office this morning and when I got there, they sang happy birthday and gave me a funny plate that one of the ladies made with a $50 gift card to Bed, Bath & Beyond taped to it. I thought that was so sweet! On my sales calls I even pulled a “it’s-my-30th-birthday-so-I-need-you-to-buy-this” and it worked! I get the guy Rangers tickets so I don’t feel too bad about that!
I’ve heard from friends, frenemies, family, neighbors old and new, co-workers, former bosses, and former employees. I’m feeling pretty special and can’t help but think this is going to be my BEST DECADE YET! To top it all off, Wade and I won’t celebrate until this evening. Over the weekend he gave me homework of writing down 101 goals for my life. I’m looking forward to seeing what he’s got up his sleeve!
