It really rained all night long. I know this because I was up all night long with a giant headache. Now, I know some of you motherly, nurturing types will be inclined to feel bad for me, so let’s go ahead and just nip this in the bud. DON’T. It is 100% my fault and I’m really thankful that it happened. It all started on Sunday evening when Wade and I ordered Dominos for dinner. I had one of their pasta bread bowls. It wasn’t even good AND it was so unhealthy. On to Monday…we made a pretty last minute decision to have Mainord and Palmer over for dinner since Palmer (Wade’s friend) would be coming into town for the evening. Instead of eating out somewhere, I made cookies, baked beans, queso, corn dip, zuchinni & squash and ranch potatoe slices. Wade grilled burgers and dogs. I basically gorged myself on chips and cookies. It was another unhealthy meal and I ate to the point where I was totally uncomfortable. We had tons of leftovers though, so that’s what I had for dinner Tuesday night. I think it’s safe to say that 3 nights of sh**ty eating caught up with me and if that’s something I can control, I’m going to do my damnedest to make sure that never happens again.
Thankfully, the freaking monsoon made it a little too dangerous to be traveling all over Texas today, so I’m spending the day in the office and will be able to easily catch up with my sleep. I’m laughing as I type because the truth is that the dogs are going nuts, barking like crazy and I highly doubt there’s any nap time in my future.
Tonight, we have our tasting for the wedding meal at Chophouse. We’re pretty excited about that too. The save-the-dates went out this week and I just received a save-the-date for my bachelorette party. It’s going to be in Dallas, which I’m very excited about. It will be nice to stay close to home and really just relax.
I hope you all are enjoying my “photos of the day” as much as I am. I’m really trying to not take pictures of the dogs every single day. It’s hard though…real hard. They are just too cute.
Okay, I’ve got to get some work done, but I hope everyone has a great day!
