I don’t even know what to call this post.  What a day it’s been?!?  I picked out bridesmaids dresses, bought a veil, met the planner and florist at Bass Hall and discovered some amazing things!  The last time Wade and I went to the Bass Hall all of the props and scenes for “The Nutcracker” were in place.  It was still a beautiful space, but it looked like there was so much room to fill with decor.  It seemed so overwhelming.  When we walked in there today, they were set up for the symphony and they had huge dark, wooden panels against the walls and gold panels hanging from the ceiling.  It was so warm and elegant.  The best part is that we get to use them for the wedding.  It was stunning (as my Grandma would say)!

I also worked this morning and that’s where my picture of the day comes from.  This dealership is in Carrollton and they actually have 3 dogs that stay on the property at all times.  The photo show Lilly (13 yrs. old) and Nike (3 yrs. old).  They run up to greet me every time I get there.  Lilly is so old, she can’t really see, but she can follow Nike to come get her lovin’ from me.  They are sweethearts.  Now, Roscoe, a red German Shepardish guy is not so nice.  In fact, he’s probably a bit of a liability for these folks.  He never wants to rubbed, doesn’t respond to a sweet, puppy love voice and is downright intimidating; hence, he didn’t want to be in the picture.

Our fast is going well.  Dinner is definitely our favorite time of day!  I had a hard-boiled egg and some carrots for my morning snack and we’re having Chipotle for dinner.  I’ve cut out all carbs and I paid for it last night.  I had the worst headache, but I think it will be worth it.  My new thing is eating paleo…check it out at

I’m not so concerned with losing weight, although I wouldn’t be devastated if I did, I am interested in staying really healthy, avoiding carcinogens and allergens.  We’ll see how it goes.  Okay, I have to finish up a few things for work and then wait patiently for dinner time.
