Since November is Thanksgiving, I’m picking something to be thankful every day this month.
Day 1: thankful to enjoy beautiful days with a long run
Day 2: thankful to have such a great, supportive and fun family
Day 3: thankful for my health and access to all types of information on wellness and healthy living
Day 4: thankful for a home with plenty of room for my family
Day 5: thankful for a very loving and accepting family
Day 6: thankful for great friends of all ages and backgrounds
Day 7: thankful for open-minded people who want to learn
Day 8: thankful that everyone has different gifts to offer this world
Day 9: thankful for a warm, cozy bed on chilly mornings and 2 cuddly puggle-bulls to share it with
Day 10: thankful for my soulmate, my teammate, my partner in crime, my love…Wade
Day 11: thankful to work from home (especially on Friday’s)
Day 12: thankful for such a supportive, loving, funny, smart, kind and compassionate Mother. She is my very best friend and I cherish our time together and am grateful for her advice and her unconditional love!
Day 13: thankful for special moments that our friends create and a beautiful, lazy Sundays
Day 14: thankful for a job that allows me such a flexible schedule to enjoy life and take care of my family
Day 15: thankful for southern hospitality. It doesn’t take much time outside of the south to realize how nice the people really are down here. Chivalry is NOT dead
Day 16: thankful for all my parents…Dad and Mom (of course) and Bob and Marilyn. I am blessed to have such a wonderful family
Day 17: thankful for “in-laws.” As if my own family weren’t blessing enough, I have the best future in-laws a girl could ask for; parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, etc.
Day 18: thankful for my grandparents! What a tremendous blessing they have been in my life. I feel so lucky to have such supportive and involved grandparents!!!
Day 19: thankful for an awesomely inspiring brother. I am so proud of him and so honored to be his sister. I’m especially thankful for all the wonderful memories I have growing up with him.
Day 20: thankful for amazing friends…true friends. I am so blessed to have had the same best friend since 7th grade. She makes me a better person and I can’t imagine my life without her or her family.
Day 21: thankful for the people who take time to chat at the grocery store.
Day 22: thankful for really great neighbors. We are so blessed to have some great people in our neighborhood. They definitely add to the homey-ness of this house!
Day 23: thankful for my sense of smell. I went for a long time without being able to smell things and, let me tell ya, life’s a lot better with smells!
Day 24: thankful for a big turkey and lots of delicious sides to share with my loving family! HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!
Day 25: thankful for leftovers and a full belly!
Day 26: thankful for anticipation of the holidays. It’s always such an exciting time of year.
Day 27: thankful for afternoon naps.
Day 28: thankful for spreadsheets in Excel
Day 29: thankful for a new fiscal year and a fresh start!
