Last night was rough.  I didn’t go to sleep until 1AM and I woke up every single hour.  This story actually begins Sunday morning, when Wade and I got home from church.  He dropped me off while he went to run some errands and I made lunch (spaghetti and meatballs).  I had decorated for Christmas first thing on Friday morning and was so happy to have it done.  When I walked in on Sunday morning, I found what looked like a christmas tree light bulb torn to shreds.  I couldn’t see any glass, but I thought there would be no way that Archie would eat the glass part.  I had dropped a small bag of bulbs and figured it came from there.  I never expected that it came from the tree.  I was wrong on both counts.

Awesome pre-lit Christmas tree chew toy.

He puked all night and there were glass shards in there.  He’s doing okay now, but that was scary and a pain.  Just now, I go to plug in the tree lights and see that the whole bottom part of the tree does not light up.  He actually ate 2 bulbs and the evidence (demolished wires) is just sitting there tangled in the branches.  So annoying.  I know he’s suffered enough for it though.  Poor little guy.

I didn’t expect to spend all day at home today, but I literally got 0 sleep.  I did have a super-productive day work-wise though.  Today is the first day of our new fiscal year and it just feels good to start fresh again.  Things are really busy and that’s nice for a change too.  I didn’t get to go to yoga, which I’m a little disappointed about, but I did take the dogs for a walk.  There’s a bit of chill in the air and that’s pretty awesome!

Right now, I’m just finishing up a plethora of reports, printing the Bhagavad Gita As It is, and listening to the dogs bark at every single sound they hear.  Not the most relaxing, but I can’t really complain.  I love this life!
