OH. MY. GOSH.
What a week?!? Things have been absolutely insane here! It’s been a whirlwind thought, that’s for sure. I can’t remember the last time I blogged, but I can assure you that plenty has happened since then.
Wade went to St. Louis
I went Shreveport
I made a ton of cake balls
I started my own business (a peace of cake)
Wade and I went to the World Series Gala
Neal and Wade’s friend, Brad, came into town for the three WS home games
I am completely baseballed out. I can’t wait for the season to be over. Poor Wade, this is just the beginning of sales for next season. No rest for the weary, I suppose. That’s how we roll!
It’s been a really fun ride to the World Series, but I must say that the World Series Gala is, by far, the coolest part. It was at the Fort Worth Zoo! We all know I love the zoo, but I don’t think Wade was prepared for the amount of my love for the zoo. I was totally overstimulated there. They had a Clay Walker Concert, all types of food and drinks, different places to take pictures and dress up, the butt sketch artist, and THE ANIMALS!
It was incredible. I got to pet a baby alligator, but check out this big guy behind. He floated to the top of the water and just hung out right by the window. He was HUGE!
We had our butts sketched by the butt-sketch artist and we were probably the worst butt-sketch models alive. We kept moving and talking and I even turned around to take this picture. He was very kind to both of us though…I mean, look at those BUTTS!!!
And of course, all of this fun was to celebrate the Rangers’ 2nd World Series!!! So, we went to 3 games. On Sunday, a lot of my family was out there so we met up and I got to spend some quality time with my cousins!!!

Today, I’m trying to get things back to normal after such a crazy week and I’m looking forward to having things settle down a bit, at least until Thanksgiving, when I’ll be hosting my very first Thanksgiving dinner! I’m so excited!!!
