Ugggghhhhh!  It’s been a crazy kind of week.  It all started Monday at 7:30am.  I was heading out the door for a run and I checked my work email.  I had a message from the CEO from one of our biggest franchise accounts saying that he wanted to meet in order to go over several topics.  I went ahead and went for my run, came back and spent all day between prepping for the meeting and working on school.

I didn’t sleep well at all Monday night, but I was much less stressed out when sun rose on Tuesday.  I went for a 5.5 mile run, but about 3 miles out, my foot started to kill me.  I had no other choice, but to run home so that’s what I did.  I was okay during the day, but by the time the evening rolled around, I could barely walk.  This morning it was so painful!!!  I had to get to my meeting though, so I put on flip flops and carried my heels with me.  When I parked my car, I changed into heels and walked limped into the building.

My foot was throbbing the whole time, but the meeting went well, so that was good.  I finished there about 10:00 and noticed a hospital right across the street.  I was supposed to meet my old boss for lunch at 11:30, but I really wanted to get x-rayed and get this over with.  So, I hobbled into the ER, which was very slow (thank goodness), and checked myself in.  $245 later, I got a new shoe:

Most expensive shoe I ever bought…and it’s
not even cute.

While I waited for my x-ray results, I called my lunch date and told him I would have to move it to noon.  Thankfully, I got out of there just in time to make it to PF Changs for lunch.  It had been a while since I had spoken with Dan so it was nice to catch up.  However, my foot was killing me so I was ready to get the heck outta there!

I took a bath the second I got home, changed into a nightshirt and took a nap.  Since then, I’ve been doing school, school and more school.  This blog entry is like a vacation from spreadsheets and emails.  Wade said his interview went really well. I’m so relieved that it’s over.  Hopefully, they’ll have a decision soon.  I can’t take the suspense!!!

Okay, vacation is over…

Blessings!
