Well, I’ve done it. I have strung together 3 really good days in a row and I think I’ve figured out what was wrong. I think it goes without saying that I haven’t been challenged at my job. I’ve made a point to try something new every single day this week…
I don’t remember what I did on Monday, but on Tuesday I had my first golf lesson. On Wednesday, I swam laps at the pool, Thursday (today) made a homemade pizza and used my own basil and tomorrow, I’ve got my first session with the trainer. I’ve also decided to volunteer once a week at my old elementary school. When I made that decision, I didn’t realize how close we were to summer…
|Organic sourdough crust, organic marinara,
organic skim mozzarella, organic tomato and
home-grown, organic basil.
|The finished product. It was the best piece of
pizza I’ve ever had!!!
My little pizza project has me inspired to grow my own tomatoes. I’d love to make my own marinara and use my own tomatoes in the next version of this pizza!
And, that’s my little treat for the night…
I’ll be heading to Wade’s softball game in a bit and up bright and early to get to Fort Worth for my training session.
