Well, I just got back from a 1 mile run with Archie and Mack!  I can’t even believe it.  They did so well, except for the time that I almost fell flat on my face tripping over the big brown dog.  They are napping now, of course!

I finished my semester yesterday and I’m very happy about that, but I will be getting my first C.  There’s pretty much no chance of a B unless my professor implements a massive curve.  I’m okay with that…one step closer to being done and it feels GREAT!

Over the past 5 years, I’ve definitely been more and more interested in spirituality.  I’ve spent some time thinking about the difference between spirituality and religion.  I am Christian, but I religion feels like an external discipline, where spirituality speaks to me as an internal discipline.  I believe in meditation and prayer.  I believe in miracles, but I believe that they come from within.  Now, the power to generate a miracle is a gift from God, but it’s a gift he’s given to all of us and in order to manifest the miracle, we have to find it within ourselves.

That certainly isn’t an easy thing to do.  It means aligning our thoughts and physical body with the Divine.  It can be scary, challenging and down right miserable to get there, but I think we’ve all experienced a “closeness” with God/ourselves in the form of uncanny coincidences.  This seems to be the most common way in which I become aware of a greater power in my life.  It’s reassuring and invigorating.

The power of prayer and meditation connect us that.  Isn’t that amazing?!?!

Okay, I may have rambled a bit today, but I wanted to get those thoughts down.  I hope everyone has a blessed day!
