Today, I felt a lot better…still not my best time, but it was a big improvement from Saturday.  It’s worth noting that I started INSANITY on Sunday.  I’m sure that just about everyone walking God’s green earth has heard of P90X and INSANITY, but for those of you who haven’t seen the infomercials or read the facebook status updates, INSANITY is a set of really intense workout videos.  I did it because I wanted to cross-train while I’m training for this marathon.  I’ve read that it will prevent injury and improve my time, as well.  So, we’ll see.  For now, I’m getting my butt kicked by a DVD 6 times a week and kicking my own butt by running four times a week.  I expect that my running time will suffer for the first month, or so, until my body gets used to all of this activity.

It has been such an awesome 3-day weekend!  I feel like I had a whole summer vacation over the past 3 days.  I got so much done and got to spend a lot of time with my Mom.  That was really nice.  I cleaned, bought a lot of art, did a lot of exercise, swam, cooked and hung out with friends.  Really, I couldn’t ask for more…oh, there was a little bit of school work in there too!

The coming week will be a challenge.  It’s never fun to cram 5 days of work into 4 and I have 2 big project due for school.  Never a dull moment…
